Manhattan ? Kansas State running back Leon Patton was charged with abuse involving a 4-month-old boy and was dismissed from the team.
He was arrested and jailed Thursday on $30,000 bond for his actions July 15, police said. A news release Friday gave no other details. Patton rushed for 999 yards and 10 touchdowns in two seasons.
