Women’s golf in eighth

? Kansas University’s women’s golf team was in eighth place after shooting 612 on Monday at the Chip-N-Club Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

The Jayhawks shot a 306 in the first and second rounds at the par-72, 6,608-yard Wilderness Ridge Golf Course.

Junior Emily Powers and sophomore Grace Thiry led the KU individual scores after shooting two-round scores of 150, which tied them for 11th.
