Fort Riley ? The Kansas State University men’s basketball team will spend a day at Fort Riley training and playing ball with an artillery unit that’s preparing for war.
The team on Thursday will be doing morning physical training with the soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment before heading to a memorial service marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
