Wednesday’s drizzly weather didn’t seem to bother Mangino, who admitted following his team’s evening practice that it was probably good to get some work in under less-than-stellar conditions.
“You just don’t know (about the weather on game day),” said Mangino. “We’re playing here at home, and they say it’s going to be nice, (but) I don’t know. Then the next week we go down to Florida, and they’re having a lot of rain down there with the hurricane season. So I guess it doesn’t hurt for us to practice in some wet weather.”
