Las Vegas — Cyrus Tate’s layup at the buzzer lifted Iowa over Kansas State in the third-place game of the Las Vegas Invitational.
Tate, who had 10 points and seven rebounds, converted an uncontested layup on the left side beating the final horn.

Lincoln, Neb. — Ade Dagunduro scored underneath the basket with 2.7 seconds left, and Nebraska used another strong defensive performance to come back from a 13-point halftime deficit.
Steve Harley scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the second half and looked to be setting up for the final shot. But as he drove into the lane, he found Dagunduro all alone. Dagunduro laid in the pass, clinching only the Cornhuskers’ second win in the last 10 regular-season meetings with their in-state rival.

Stanford, Calif. — Josh Owens scored a career-high 21 points to help Stanford beat Colorado and remain undefeated under first-year coach Johnny Dawkins.
