By Jesse Newell     Nov 3, 2008

So what exacty was Sherron Collins thinking while dribbling the ball up the court in the national championship game, Jayhawks down three points, time winding down?

In this one-on-one interview with KUsports.com’s Jesse Newell, conducted at Big 12 Media Days in Oklahoma City, Collins takes you inside his head as he recounts his memory of the biggest assist in KU history. He talks about what he heard as he dribbled up the court, explains why he started slowly before sprinting past Memphis’ Derrick Rose and talks about his pass to Mario that almost got away.

Collins goes on to discuss what his emotions were as he dribbled out the final seconds of the national championship game. He also talks about how his life has changed since KU won the title last April.
