Lincoln, Neb. ? Kansas sophomore Emily Powers, playing in the NCAA West Golf Regional as an individual, opened by shooting an 8-over-par 80 Thursday at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. The tournament will continue with 18 holes today and the final round Saturday. Twenty-one teams and three individuals are competing for eight team spots and two individual spots for the NCAA Championships.
