Kansas University’s Emily Powers – the lone Jayhawk invited to the NCAA Regional as an individual – was named to the All-Big 12 Women’s Golf Team on Friday.

Powers, a sophomore from Quincy, Ill., was one of 10 players selected to the league team, which is picked by the conference coaches. She joined four players from Oklahoma State, three from Texas A&M and single players from Missouri and Texas.

Oklahoma State, which won the Big 12 title last week, swept the individual honors, with Laura Matthews named the coach of the year, Permilla Lindberg player of the year and Jaclyn Sweeney newcomer of the year.
