Shockers eliminated

? Jack Rye’s three-run homer capped a six-run first inning, leading Florida State back to the College World Series with an 11-4 win over Wichita State in the super regionals on Sunday.

The Seminoles (54-12) are headed back to college baseball’s biggest stage for the first time since 2000 and the 13th trip in coach Mike Martin’s 29 seasons.

Tommy Oravetz followed Rye’s home run with a three-run double to chase previously unbeaten Wichita State starter Anthony Capra (9-1).
