KU men’s basketball Big 12 schedule announced

Kansas University’s defending men’s basketball champions will make three television appearances on ABC and two on CBS during the Big 12 Conference portion of their 2008-2009 schedule.

In the conference schedule announced today, the Jayhawks will play Colorado, Oklahoma State and Kansas State on ABC and Missouri and Texas on CBS.

The Jayhawks will also have four Monday night games on ESPN – Texas A&M on Jan. 19, at Baylor on Feb. 2, at Missouri on Feb. 9 and at Oklahoma on Feb. 23.

Here is the Jayhawks’ conference schedule for next season:

Jan. 13 – Kansas State (Big 12)

Jan. 17 – at Colorado (ABC)

Jan. 19 – Texas A&M (ESPN)

Jan. 24 – at Iowa State (ESPN)

Jan. 28 – at Nebraska (ESPN2)

Jan. 31 – Colorado (ESPNU)

Feb. 2 – at Baylor (ESPN)

Feb. 7 – Oklahoma State (ABC)

Feb. 9 – at Missouri (ESPN)

Feb. 14 – at Kansas State (ABC)

Feb. 18 – Iowa State (Big 12)

Feb. 21 – Nebraska (Big 12)

Feb. 23 – at Oklahoma (ESPN)

March 1 – Missouri (CBS)

March 4 – at Texas Tech (ESPN2)

March 7 – Texas (CBS)
