UT aide gets new position
Austin, Texas – Texas running backs coach Ken Rucker is moving into a new job as the football program’s director of high school relations and player development.
A&M hires line coach
College Station, Texas – Buddy Wyatt was hired Wednesday as Texas A&M’s defensive line coach, returning to the position he held from 2000-02 under R.C. Slocum. Wyatt, 41, was Nebraska’s defensive line coach last season and worked at Alabama from 2003-05.
OU lineman misses court
Tempe, Ariz. – Oklahoma defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger missed a court date following his shoplifting arrest in Arizona and faced the potential of a warrant being issued for his arrest Wednesday.
