Kansas University sophomore diver Meghan Proehl was named to the Big 12 Winter Good Works Team, it was announced Friday. For the second year in a row, the Big 12 has announced a fall, winter and spring Good Works Team to honor 12 student-athletes from Big 12 institutions for their academics, combined with their community-service efforts.
Proehl recorded a 4.0 GPA this past fall, while volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Habitat for Humanity.
