Louisville, Ky. — Freshman Samardo Samuels scored 15 points, and Earl Clark added six points, six rebounds and five assists to lead Louisville to a victory over Lamar in the final game of the Marques Maybin Classic.

The Cardinals (5-1) won their third game in three days. They won their previous two games in the round-robin tournament by a combined 75 points.

No. 19 Georgetown 100, Savannah St. 38

Washington — DaJuan Summers, Jessie Sapp and Austin Freeman all had 14 points, and Greg Monroe added 13 for Georgetown.

The Hoyas (6-1) shot 69.8 percent from the field (37-of-53) and held Savannah State (5-4) to 22.8 percent (13-of-57). The Tigers have lost four of five.

Two days after holding American University to 12 points in the first half, the Hoyas led Savannah State 57-15 at the break.
