Kansas University’s Danielle McCray has been named Big 12 women’s basketball player of the week.
McCray, a 5-foot-11 junior, averaged 21 points and nine rebounds in the Jayhawks’ two games last week. She shot 55.6 percent from the field and made eight of 12 shots from three-point range.
