Kansas tennis ends season with 4-0 loss

? Colorado ended Kansas University’s tennis season with a 4-0 victory over the Jayhawks on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Conference tournament.

Colorado won at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles to claim the doubles point, then won three singles matches in straight sets to bounce the Jayhawks.

At No. 4 singles, CU’s Veera Nurmi beat Kunigunda Dorn, 6-4, 6-4; at No. 5, Melisa Esposito beat Yuliana Svistun, 7-5, 6-2; and at No. 3, Gleisy Torres Torees beat Elizaveta Horvath, 6-2, 6-4 to end it.
