Kyra Elzy, an assistant women’s basketball coach at Kansas University the last four years, has joined the staff at Kentucky.
Elzy, 29, will be the top assistant under coach Matthew Mitchell and serve as the Wildcats’ recruiting coordinator.
Elzy played collegiately at Tennessee. She came to Kansas from Virginia Tech where she was an administrative assistant under current KU coach Bonnie Henrickson.
