Manhattan ? Kansas State freshman forward Michael Beasley will hold a news conference at 5 p.m. Monday to announce his plans.
K-State coach Frank Martin said he hadn’t been informed by Beasley whether he would declare for the NBA Draft or return to school for another year. but Martin said he didn’t anticipate having Beasley, who likely will be the first or second overall pick in the draft.
Beasley averaged 26.2 points and 12.4 rebounds this season in leading Kansas State to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
