KU gets commitment from Dodge City QB Pick

Dodge City High senior quarterback Kale Pick, who pulled back on his commitment to Arkansas Sunday night, has given his verbal pledge now to Kansas University.

The 6-foot-1 gunslinger, ranked as the No. 6 prospect in this year’s in-state senior class by Rivals.com, has been injured for much of his senior season, but as a junior was 105-of-190 for 1,779 yards and 19 touchdown tosses.

Rivals.com also ranks Pick as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback in this year’s crop of prospects.
