KU, K-State, MU in poll for first time

By Associated Press     Oct 16, 2007

? They’ve been rivals for more than a century, but there’s one thing that until now never had happened to Kansas, Missouri and Kansas State.

The Jayhawks, Tigers and Wildcats are all ranked in the Associated Press football poll at the same time.

The first AP poll was released almost 71 years ago on Oct. 19, 1936. Until this week – with KU and MU tied at No. 15 and Kansas State at No. 25 – there never had been a week when all three were ranked.
