The status of Oklahoma defensive end Auston English, the Big 12 sacks leader, remains in question for the league’s championship game, but his backup is expected to be healthy enough to play Saturday against No. 1 Missouri. English has missed the last three games for the ninth-ranked Sooners (10-2, 6-2) since suffering a hairline fracture in his right leg against Texas A&M. OU does expect to have backup Alan Davis back in time for the championship game.
