Paris sisters lead Sooners to first win

? Courtney Paris had 16 points and 19 rebounds, and sister Ashley scored 21 points to help No. 10 Oklahoma win for the first time this season, beating 14th-ranked Arizona State, 69-57, in the Caribbean Challenge.

Courtney Paris had her 69th double-double in 72 career games.

Danielle Robinson added scored 18 points for Oklahoma (1-2), which opened the season with losses to No. 3 Maryland and No. 1 Tennessee.

Briann January and Dymond Simon scored 16 points each for Arizona State (2-2).

No. 11 Texas A&M 70, Wichita State 36

Charlotte Amalie, U.S. Virgin Islands – Patrice Reado scored 14 points to lead Texas A&M to a victory over Wichita State in the Paradise Jam.

The Aggies (3-0) took a 32-14 halftime lead and kept the pressure on by diving for loose balls throughout the game.

Nine players scored for the Aggies during 24-2 run in the second half that put the game out of the reach. The run was capped by Katrina Limbaha’s jumper that made it 58-20.

Takia Starks and La Toya Micheaux each had 13 points.

Daria Frazier and Marcy Sudbeck led Wichita State (1-2) with eight points each.
