? Oklahoma State scored three goals in a four-minute span in the first half to upend Kansas University, 3-0, in the first round of the Big 12 Soccer Championship on Wednesday at Blossom Soccer Stadium.

Kansas, which ended its season 7-10-4, was undefeated in its final five regular-season matches, but the Jayhawks quickly fell behind the Cowgirls (13-5-2).

Junior Yolanda Odenyo gave OSU a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute with a shot off a failed clear from 25 yards out that beat the goalkeeper to the near post.

It was her team-leading sixth goal of the season.

OSU took a 2-0 lead on another Kansas mistake in the box. Siera Strawser finished a ball deep in the box after the KU defense deflected a cross from the near side.

The Cowgirls scored their third goal when Strawser again buried a cross from Kasey Langdon from the far side of the box. It marked the most goals KU had given up in a contest since Sept. 30 at Texas A&M.

OSU took 17 shots to 10 for KU. Both teams had a handful of good chances. Senior goalkeeper Colleen Quinn made four saves for KU.
