Former Kansas University golfer Amanda Costner was the low amateur in last weekend’s Futures Tour tournament at Leawood South Country Club.

Costner, who earlier became the first KU golfer to earn medalist honors in the Big 12 Conference championships, finished 22nd overall with rounds of 76-75-76 for a total of 227. By making the cut, she had to miss KU’s formal graduation ceremonies on Sunday afternoon.

Costner, a native of Claremore, Okla., graduated with a degree in applied behavioral science.
