? North Carolina senior Reyshawn Terry has been diagnosed with strep throat, but was expected to play against Southern California in Friday’s night East Regional semifinal.

Terry has been sick for nearly a week, starting when he missed the shootaround because of a headache and fever before the Tar Heels’ second-round victory against Michigan State.

Terry then missed two days of practice. The school said Terry was improving and didn’t have a fever Wednesday.

The 6-foot-8 Terry is averaging 9.8 points for the Heels (30-6). He scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half to help hold off the Spartans on Saturday.
