COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. ? Future Kansas University basketball guard Travis Releford scored 23 points off 7-of-17 shooting, including two of four threes, in the White Team’s 125-120 victory over the Blue on Saturday morning at the U.S. Olympic Festival. He had five rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes.
Saturday night, the two teams met again, with the Blue team prevailing, 122-113, and earning a spot in the finals.
Releford, a 6-foot-4 senior from Roeland Park Miege who orally committed to KU last week, scored 13 points off 5-of-12 shooting. He misfired on all five three-point tries. He had five rebounds in 32 minutes.
In a late game Friday, Releford had scored 13 points off 5-of-8 shooting in a 99-70 win over Brazil.
