Vaughn signing announced

? Former Kansas University point guard Jacque Vaughn, who recently reached terms on a two-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs, has signed the contract, the Spurs announced Thursday.

The two-year deal will pay him about $2.5 million according to media reports.

Vaughn, a 6-foot-1 guard, played in 64 games, averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 assists in 11.9 minutes a game. Vaughn scored in double figures three times and led the Spurs in assists in nine games. He entered all 20 playoff games, averaging 2.2 points and 1.4 assists in 10.4 minutes per game.
