Kansas University’s football program has hired Je’Ney Jackson as cornerbacks coach, it was announced Thursday.
Jackson has spent the last two years as an assistant strength coach at KU. He was an All-Western Athletic Conference cornerback in the 1990s while at Wyoming.
He’ll replace Earnest Collins, who accepted a job at Central Florida in December.
Also announced Thursday is the promotion of wide-receivers coach Tim Beck to include the role of passing-game coordinator.
