Mizzou receiver suspended

? A Missouri reserve receiver has been suspended and will not play in the Tigers’ Cotton Bowl game against Arkansas.

Missouri coach Gary Pinkel on Monday confirmed the suspension of wide receiver Greg Bracey for disciplinary reasons. Pinkel said Bracey would not play in the bowl game, meaning his playing career at Missouri is over. Pinkel declined to elaborate.

Bracey was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and failure to signal a turn, the Columbia Daily Tribune reported.

Bracey caught three passes this season for 53 yards, but none since the fourth nonconference game, against Western Illinois. He played in 11 of Missouri’s 13 games in an 11-2 season. Bracey caught two passes, including one for 37 yards and a touchdown, against Ole Miss.
