Rivals.com reported Wednesday that Kansas University’s football team received a commitment from Nathan D’Cunha, a 6-foot-7, 305-pound offensive lineman out of Santa Barbara (Calif.) Community College.
D’Cunha had offers from Kansas, Kansas State, San Diego State, Syracuse, Baylor, Iowa State and others.
He plans to sign in the early signing period for mid-year grads and will enroll at Kansas in January.
A native of Australia, D’Cunha played on the Australian national team during the World Games in Germany.
He then came to America to play junior-college football before getting courted by four-year schools.
One of the top junior-college linemen in the nation, D’Cunha briefly was committed to Baylor before opening his recruitment back up.
