Aussie club whips KU women, 88-54

? Danielle McCray had 20 points and eight rebounds, but Kansas University’s women’s basketball team was thumped, 88-54, by the Sydney Flames Tuesday in the opening game of its Australian tour.

Sade Morris added 11 points, four rebounds and two steals for the Jayhawks.

Porscha Weddington had seven points, seven boards and three blocks.

Kansas will take today off before traveling Thursday to Brisbane.

The Jayhawks will play two games in Brisbane before moving on to Cairns, where they will complete the tour with a fourth game.
