Omaha, Neb. ? Nebraska athletic director Steve Pederson has hired a former Lincoln sports reporter to the top communications post for the athletic department as part of a restructuring of the athletic department, the athletic department said Thursday.
Randy York was a sports columnist for the Lincoln Journal Star for 15 years and spent 22 years in corporate communications at Sprint, Pederson said in a news release.
