Longar leads Oklahoma past Chaminade

? Longar Longar had 24 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to lead Oklahoma to a 72-57 victory against Chaminade on Wednesday in the seventh-place game of the EA Sports Maui Invitational.

The 6-foot-11 junior, a native of Sudan, averaged 2.5 points during his first two seasons with the Sooners (3-2) with a career high of 27 his freshman year against Florida A&M. He averaged 11.8 points during the first four games this season. The 14 rebounds doubled his previous career best.
