Geoff Herberg has been named Kansas athletics media relations assistant for the next year, it was announced Thursday.
A native of Phoenix, Herberg has served two student internships while at KU in the marketing and media relations departments. He graduated this month with a master’s degree in science in education, sports management from KU.
In his new position, Herberg will assist in the publicity of Kansas Athletics’ 18 varsity sports. He will be the main contact for Kansas cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field.
