Baton Rouge, La. ? Kansas University dropped two of three doubles matches and lost the doubles point, but rallied for a 4-3 tennis victory over 48th-ranked LSU on Tuesday. The 74th-ranked Jayhawks improved to 6-5.
“This was a great win for our program,” KU coach Amy Hall-Holt said. “Hopefully, we can build on this as we enter the pivotal part of our season.”
Ksenia Bukina, Elizaveta Avdeeva, Lauren Hommel and Edina Horvath claimed singles victories for the Jayhawks.
KU will play host to Missouri-Kansas City and Saint Louis on Saturday.
