The last time the Kansas Women’s basketball team played in the post-season was in 2000. In round one of the NCAA’s that year the Lady Jayhawks lost a double overtime heartbreaker to Vanderbilt and KU hasn’t played post-season basketball since, that is until Thursday night. The Jayhawks won by ten over the Northern Iowa Panthers, 59-49.
