Ex-Jayhawk Berry dies at age of 41

Former Kansas University football defensive back Derek Berry, 41, died Sunday at his Grandview, Mo., home.

Berry, who grew up in East St. Louis, Ill., is the brother of ex-Jayhawk Tony Berry. Derek played at KU from 1983-87.
