Kansas University cruised past Drury, 157-70, in its final home swimming and diving meet of the season Friday to give coach Clark Campbell his 100th career victory.
KU won 12 of 13 events on Senior Night at Robinson Natatorium. Kansas’ six seniors – Megan Boecker, Gina Gnatzig, Robyn Karlage, Emily Rusch, Casey Topol and Lindsey Urbatchka – were honored before the meet.
“Tonight we were really happy to give the seniors a win in their last home meet,” Campbell said.
KU’s winners Friday were: Lia Pogioli, 1,000 free (10:13.07); Gnatzig, 200 free (1:51.94) and 100 free (52.42); Urbatchka, 50 free (24.5) and 100 fly (57.33); Danielle Herrmann, 200 IM (2:07.61) and 100 breast (1:05.65); Shelby Noonan, one-meter diving (297.15) and three-meter diving (298.88); Jenny Short, 100 back (57.88); and Terri Schramka 500 free (5:01.19).
KU will travel Feb. 3-4 to Iowa State.
