Kansas University baseball players Don Czyz and Gus Milner were named Tuesday the Big 12 Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively.
It marks the first time KU has swept the weekly conference awards.
Czyz, a senior from Overland Park, picked up two saves last weekend as the Jayhawks took two of three games from No. 8 Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif. He has three saves this season, and holds the KU record with 15 career saves.
Milner, a senior from Olathe, was 7-for-13 at the plate against the Cardinal. He hit two home runs and collected seven RBI.
