It’s no surprise to any KU fan that Coach Bill Self stresses defense and so far his lessons have not been lost on the young Jayhawks. KU continues to lead the nation in defensive field goal percentage after knocking off NE Wednesday night by 21 on the road. The Jayhawk defense held the Cornhuskers to just 34 percent shooting on the floor.
