Kansas University’s Kelly Kohn has been named Big 12 Conference women’s basketball rookie of the week.
A 5-foot-9 freshman guard from Adrian, Mich., Kohn scored a career-high 19 points and pulled down five rebounds while adding four assists and three steals in Sunday’s 78-68 victory over Santa Clara.
