By Staff     Aug 28, 2006

Kansas’ second game of the season was canceled because of rain Sunday. Kansas was scheduled to play Loyola Marymount at 1 p.m. at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex. When the referees arrived at the field, they met with both coaches, and determined that the field was unsafe to be played on.

The game will not be rescheduled.

Kansas was victorious in its season opener against Furman on Friday afternoon. The Jayhawks will now take to the road when they participate in the Cal Invitational. Kansas will face Cal at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
