KU’s Gault tapped for all-conference team

Kansas University senior Holly Gault was named to the preseason all-Big 12 soccer team, the conference announced Monday.

Gault, a Spring Hill native, is a two-time all-league first-team pick as a defender. She has been moved to forward this season.

Also, the conference coaches tapped Kansas fifth in the preseason poll. Texas A&M was picked first (97 points), followed by Nebraska (83), Texas (82), Colorado (72), KU (69), Oklahoma (51), Oklahoma State (47), Missouri (42), Iowa State (31), Baylor (18) and Texas Tech (13).
