The Kansas University women’s tennis team will begin play in the 2006 Big 12 Championships on Thursday in Waco, Texas, against Colorado.
The eighth-seeded Jayhawks will face the ninth-seeded Buffaloes at 6 p.m.
KU (13-10 overall, 4-7 Big 12) and Colorado (10-9, 4-7) met earlier this season on April 15 in Boulder, with the Jayhawks winning, 4-3.
