Free State High’s Alysha Valencia won the girl’s 3200-meter run. The Firebird senior took the morning event by just over 14 ticks with a time of 10 minutes, 49 seconds. Tonganoxie’s Roxi Grizzle won the girls Javelin, while fellow Chieftain Ali Pistora took third.
