Cowboys trample Jayhawks

? Oklahoma State’s Shelby Ford homered twice, leading the Cowboys to a 9-5 victory over Kansas University in Big 12 Conference baseball Friday.

KU junior Sean Land (4-6) allowed five earned runs in five innings. He walked a season-high four batters.

Sophomore John Allman, who is hitting .467 in Big 12 games, went 3-for-3. Senior Gus Milner went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and senior Jared Schweitzer had two hits for his team-high 17th multihit game of the season.

Senior Ritchie Price played in his 225th career game, breaking the school record previously held by Brent Wilhelm (1992-95).

KU (24-14 overall, 6-7 Big 12) and OSU (20-11, 4-6) will meet at 2 p.m. today in Stillwater. Ricky Fairchild (4-3, 4.58) will pitch for KU against OSU left-hander Brae Wright (3-2, 5.54).
