KU women’s golf ninth at Susie Maxwell Classic

? Kansas University’s women’s golf squad tied for ninth place after Monday’s final round at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.

The Jayhawks shot a three-round total of 923. Junior Amanda Costner was the top KU finisher, placing in a tie for sixth after a three-round score of 222.

“We have some things to tighten up before the Big 12 Tournament,” KU coach Erin O’Neil said. “Amanda played very well for us in this tournament, and I am very pleased to see that.”

The Jayhawks return to action April 17-19 at the Big 12 Championship in Austin, Texas.
