The Kansas University tennis team’s six-match winning streak came to an end with a 4-3 loss Wednesday at Nebraska.
Nebraska won two of three doubles matches to take the doubles point.
KU’s Elizaveta Avdeeva won at No. 2 singles – her 10th straight victory – to improve to 15-3. Kansas also got singles victories from freshman Edina Horvath – her seventh straight – as well as from Christine Skoda.
KU fell to 11-7 overall, 1-4 in the Big 12 Conference.
The Jayhawks will play host to Missouri on Saturday and Baylor on Sunday.
