Kansas University’s soccer team will make a swing north this weekend, playing at Nebraska today and Iowa State on Sunday.
The Jayhawks will tangle with the Cornhuskers at 4 p.m. at NU’s soccer facility in Lincoln, Neb.
Nebraska ended KU’s season in the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year with a 2-1 double overtime victory at Jayhawks soccer complex.
Kansas, in fact, has defeated Nebraska just once in 12 meetings. KU edged the Huskers, 1-0, in 2003 and forged a 1-1 tie in 2002.
The Jayhawks have won six in a row over Iowa State. Game time will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Ames, Iowa.
