Tennis squad earns 10 victories at invite

? The KU tennis team dominated during day two of the Hurricane Invitational, posting a composite record of 10-1 in doubles and singles play.

The Jayhawks now have a two-day record of 16-6.

KU started out the day by taking five of six singles matches versus Big 12 rival Oklahoma. Christine Skoda, Lauren Hommell, Edina Horvath, Brittany Brown and Ksenia Bukina all notched victories.

The Jayhawks then shifted to doubles competition with Missouri State University, winning three matches before earning a pair of doubles victories against Wichita State.

The final day of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. today.
