KU soccer edges San Diego

? Missy Geha’s goal in the third minute held up as Kansas University’s soccer team beat San Diego, 1-0, Friday.

Geha, a freshman from Overland Park Aquinas, notched her first collegiate goal from the top right corner about 16 yards out with 3:51 on the clock.

Kansas goalkeeper Colleen Quinn was credited with seven saves and posted her third straight shutout.

KU (3-1-1) is scheduled to meet Pepperdine at 2 p.m. Sunday at the SDU field.
